So I’m a life long Hawkeye fan from Iowa. Keegan is the best player probably ever to come out of Iowa. I see a lot of hate from my new fellow Kings fans (😂😂💪🏻💪🏻) right now.
I am almost guaranteeing you that none of you have watched a single game of Iowa basketball or even 20 plus minutes of true highlights of him. So, my question is, how can you hate on this kid already and have doubts? and a majority of you haven’t even seen more than 2 games max if Jaden Ivey (I watched several).
Keegan Murray is 6’9” with 7’ wingspan… THE ONLYYYY reason he isn’t getting the attention and being marketed like these other guys is because he played at Iowa. No national attention or coverage nothing besides what that beast of a young kid brought himself! He shot 55% from the floor and jsut under 40% from 3!! At 6’9”!! And whoever says he isn’t athletic is literally crazy! Just because he didn’t do 360 windmills for highlight reels and between the leg dunks for clout don’t mean he ain’t got it!! He is plenty athletic enough for the NBA!
Ivey is nice for sure. His obvious NBA comparison is Ja Morant. They look like twins and play identical, okay. welllll how many of you paid attention to this last season and understand that the reason the Grizzlies finished second in the west is because JA MORANT was out for 25 plus games???? The Grizzlies had a 14+ ppg differential without Morant and went like 22-2 without him!! INEFFICENT! 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
Keegan will come right in and average 15-18/8/5 plus 1.5 – and 1.0 blocked per game with a probable differential on the court of +6-8/game. If someone can tell me a weakness I am ready to debate including athleticism…. There is no weakness in this kid and there facts. I can give you 3-4 on Ivey easy…
Im willing to bet you will be satisfied with the pick and he will be a lot better and more valuable than you are thinking and even considering giving credit for.
